My 7th car in Maya. I did use some blueprints for this one and it took me extra time because of all of the crashing my computer was doing, nice! It seems I can only work in the perspective veiw when I use background photos. I need a real box! I think it almost resembles a real Cheetah... almost. Took me almost a whole day.

well the whole car looks really cartoony... but is that the intention? i don't know nothing about cheetas but when i read the topic i was thinking of GTA

I make them cartoony because I can't make them look real yet. Also I lose my motivation after a few hours. Any tips on how to keep the motovation up? Thanks for the pics.

either you love to model cars or you dont. Its hard when you are first starting out, but dont give up. Its a challenge but hey, what fun is modeling a car that is easy?

you might want to start a car that has a ton of reference for it and maybe even bluepritns if you find that, model some of those cars to get practice at modeling more realistic. Then you can go to cars like the cheetah that have less reference than most cars. Dont give up!
