[WIP] Mazda RX-8

Hi guys.

I'm still quiet a n00b in 3dsmax, that's why i'm asking you for some advice.

At the moment i'm trying to model the rx8 from mazda. I attached some wire pics and clay render. So please tell me what you think and what I can improve

ur mesh is really bumpy and ur mesh has some bugs.for example the front bumper has a black hole(triangle hole)try to avoid triangle polies use quad polies ,it gives u a better shape.there are inaccuracies too but very nice start.anyway keep it up gonna be nice model

or at least can give a tutorial?

well the way i do it is this.. i select the area of glass (polygons) and simply extrude then inwards.. it gives u the inset lip..

yes i extruded them inwards too, but in my case i'm using meshsmooth so the result is as you see on the last clay render... the windows are inside but the the are no more edges - just curves!

well this is the easiest way to cut out your windows.

i think the car needs better poly placement.. also needs chamfering around bumpers (both front and rear) areas.. work on those and we'll c how it goes from there

Worked some things out like the lights but still a lot of work 2 do... but i got tired man

improved the poly placement in the windows
