Another skyline

Hi and sorry for my english. This is my second post here
I know there's a lot of models of this car and you probably had enough of it but i like the car and i decided to try and do it. I'm learning 3dsmax for 5 months and this is my second car. I don't have much spare time and progres will be slow but i'll finish the car. I'll need a lot of help especially when it comes to texturing and maping. C&C are welcome.

Best regards,
bayvan

Re: Another skyline

I can only help you with the polyplacement with this car, so just a small question: Why do you have that small polystrip above the headlight (running to the windshield)?
The rest looks good though, polywise

Re: Another skyline

that polystrip creates the seam between the hood and the fender. I model the basic shape of a car and then i start deataching the main parts hood, fender, bumper, door etc. and then i extrude the outside edges of each part one by one by a small amount usually 0.2 and then apply shell to get some thickness and turbosmooth. I hope you get the idea of what i'm talkink about becouse my english is very poor and i'm not sure if all the things i wrote above explains it.

Best regards,
bayvan

Re: Another skyline

Yeah I know what you mean, but not the other way around appearently
I didn't mean the seam, but the polyrow between the seam and the bump on the hood
