I just started a Hotrod concept Pickup
Here are some pics:

I got 1 question and a problem*
Question: What colour looks better, Black or red?

and I got some bugs at the rear fender, can anyone tell me how to fix it?

EDIT: Credit for Zachery for using his '29 Chevy model as a reference* and Volunteer Graphics for the wheels

Well, I didnt use your Chevy as a base
I used it as a reference, I made renders of top, front, back, left and used it as "Some kind of BP"

Sorry for the incovinience Zachery

Re: HotRod Concept '30's style

I planned on using your model as a base but when I opened the file the polygons were all triangles
And when I mean all, they were actually all triangles
And converting those to quads is more work then making a new model
So I decided to model it from a scratch, with your chevys lines as reference

But, does anyone know what to do about that mesh-error?

Can't help with that mesh question, but your model looks good so far Man, I love Hot Rods!!!!
My only crit is that you should model the fenders separate from the bodywork as that's the way it is on real cars of that type, then you could do a bad-boy fenderless version too

How do you mean "seperated from the bodywork"?
Could you give an exaple?

Re: HotRod Concept '30's style

The fenders and running boards bolt to the chassis, so there should be a panel gap between your hood/bonnet sides and the the front fender/wheel arch. Same at the back. Here's some pics: on the last one you can see the dark brown fenders. In theory you could lift the whole of the body off the chassis and leave the fenders sitting there (although you'd need very long arms!)
Other than that, I really like what you've done so far And I like the red version

(EDIT: oops! Sorry about the size of that last pic, it's a bit big!)

Re: HotRod Concept '30's style

Ok, ill try to do that
That way I can just remake the rear fender and so try to stay away from the bugs there
