The Definition of Trance

Thats the title of a trance album im mixing. Its not for release lol, just for the people around me to enjoy.

Anyway to the modeling, this idea came to me while i was on the way to being asleep, (most of my ideas come from the land of nod).
The magnifying glass is actually magnifying the page behind it, Redstar asked me if it was just a texture...hope that clears that up.
Took me an absolute age to get the mapping right on the pen, went through several different UV layouts

I tried doing this too sometimes, and it failed miserably
This one looks very nice, though the distortion at the sides of the glass look weird, and it's a pity the text is so lowres
Other than that, nice!

speaking of which, get the new benny benassi Phobia CD.. its reeeeeeeeally good (and trust me, i didnt really like their old stuff, but this is.. nice, way different from their old stuff, its worth it)
