1st Model Ever (00 Mitsuhishi Eclipse)

Ok, This is my very first Model that im doing on my own. I did one other model which was the Supra since Redstar provided us with a tutorial but Im going to try this one on my own. Well heres what I have right now.

DONT MIND THE CHEEZY MATERIAL lol. I dont feel like tyring to figure out the texturing yet until im done modeling so until now, I just threw the CF material but it will be changed.

I have the grill and the intercooler behing it. On my eclipse, I have just the intercooler with no grill so I was wonding what everyones opinion is. Should I go grill with intercooler behing or no grilll. If I go gril, I will make it so you can see through it better

give me comments. Remember, this is just a render to give an idea of what im going for

These are pics of the model, The Carbon Fiber Splitter rods, & Hood Pins. Please feel free to express yaself since im new, I need as much help as possible

Very nice. That's pretty good for a second model? But I'm sure you had some practice with the first, but still its looks pretty good.

I second that, but the rest looks really nice

One comment on the hood pin though.. The pin can't be retracted backwards far enough to get out of the pin (the one from underneeth the bonnet). Shorten the pin, move the hole for the pin, or make the space where the pin moves a bit bigger. Details

Nice work, good luck!

WOW for a first model it is amazing, it is very good and your materials aren't so bad too, but you are not very good at texturing , that carbon fiber looks really bad, but overall it is great

lets see the wireframe view of it though.. thats what seperates the new from the experienced, a model can look fantastic.. but it can also have a really bad mesh too
