WIP concept

hey it's been a while since I've been in the area. this concept that I did was something I just tried out to get a feeliing of 3d max.

I've more or less finished the overall body. now I'm tring to render it but I have not clue on doing it correctly so this is what I have so far. and help on the render side will be much appreciated.

ya, I started out with designing a new super wide body ferrari fot the DTM but then over time I decided to go my own way and borrow a few ideas from other cars and create my own, like the window style I got from the Saab concept.

nice ridge racer style indeed only one thing tho maybe it's just me but the wheels look kinda small in proportion with the car especialy the rear wheel

If the fact's don't fit the theory, change the facts (Albert Einstein)

don't expect tank tracks worth 184.800 poly's to render very fast

Smile Update

Hey all, ok so I've kind of figured out a few things by use of various tutorials. now I have a new problem and I've attached a image for you to see what I mean.
In my work space my windshield is glass and when I render it in scanline it could out transparent which I want, but when I render it in Mental ray it comes out all brown. any ideas on how I can fix this problem.

P.S. The background was just a test back ground. So it well probably change once I have something better. Or shall I keep it the way it is?

the car paint is transparent, while the windows are fully opaque seems like you mixed something up right there
