This is great! I've a lot of experience with real MK1 Escorts (mostly rusty ones!) - this really is an excellent model. Brings back lots of memories

Wow! Looking very nice. But I think RS1600 used round headlights. Twincam and GT had those rectangle shaped lights... well at least as far I know so if I'm wrong please correct me.

About dashboard. Did RS1600 model use those basic meters? I was thinking that it had same meters than in GT and RS2000 models. Couldnt find any pics of RS1600 interior so couldnt check it. So I might be wrong.

My first car was Lime Green (Le mans Green?) -71 Escort 1300GT. Well, not sure about the color since it was like that but it was metallic. Shame that I was young and stupid and sold that car

Haha,yea i like the attetion to detail too,well actually i have never intented to do this one an rs version,just slapped those badges there.Otherwise its just a plain road version with rectangle headlights.I had the pics of the german model and the car is based on them,so i dunno what version that is exactly,but its 1300 or something.

Is this still being worked on? How many polys is it? I think it looks really good, and if the poly count is low enough I would like to convert it to racer .
