Hahaha, I know the feeling, totally dominating everybody when it comes to presentations with the pc. We had to render a simple building model we made in Autocad, all in 1 hour 15 minutes, I was done after 45 minutes and my render in Vray landed me a perfect A. All the other people were struggling just to get a wall up in Autocad

What was your assignment exactly, and what do you study ?

Thanks for all the praise. I used adobe illustrator to make the blueprints. I wanted them to be raster based so I could easily manipulate and scale them.

The class is called 3D Modeling. We were trained on 3d studio max 8. I say trained but it was more like we were allowed time to play with max. The first 4 months all we did was play with extrudes and bevels in the edit poly modifyer. The only fun assignment we had to do was he put up a pic of a low poly model with no smoothing and we had to duplicate it in like 45 minutes.
I think the class was more along the lines of "let me show you 10 tiny tools of one of the most powerful programs in the world, and lets see what you come up with." If I had been running the class, I would have gone over the majority of the tools, some basic techniques and gone over tutorials. Also I would have used a book. I really don't want to say too much more about the class cause I gave the teacher the link to this page. If he want my critisim on the class, he can email me.

Our assignment was just to fabricate a final project. There weren't too many guidelines, just that we had to present something that looked like we spent a lot of time on it. Which I definatly did. And I think I got an A.

The only things showing it's a model, are the materials (no worry, clays are fine for now!) and the grille. And the grille is the only thing I think need to be improved, even if it takes you an hour to do so
Sweet work either way!

Thanks for all the feedback!

I agree on the wheel polys and the grill. I really don't like the grill and will definatly be working on it.

For those that care I am getting some interest over here.
