Lynx Mk1 concept car
this is my own design and im planing to make two different versions of it the first one will be the regular car and the second will be a tuned version of it. i still have to work on the back and some problem areas. so crits and comments are welcome

It has a bit too few lines for my taste, and it looks a bit like series 6 BMW, you should also check out those bumps on the hood and on the top of the car; keep going though, it has potential.

its a bit bumpy in some areas and symmetry seems to be creating some issues
but the concept is nice ,fix up those bumps and get the rear to look more appealing (i mean ur tail lights are a adapted from the z4) then it'll jus look rite
(try considering exelero or certain volvos they have some real good ideas on taillights)

yea i used the 6 series as a base for my car and ill fix those bumps soon.

thanx for the suggestion im not too happy with the tail lights my self so im gonna model new ones.

you are getting there, just keep going, fix what you can as you get to it.
Dont rush the model and you will get there.
looking real good, bar the bumps ofcourse.

i did fix the wheel arches made them wider and i also started working on the engine, im using ferrari's 599 as a ref for it. but i was wondering if any of you guys had pics of engines that i could use as ref?. btw heres the engine progress.

How do you do those headlights that light up ? (is it 3DSmax ?)
Looks good otherwise, front is a bit bland though.

im using maya. and yea man the front also kinda bothered me so i re did the front but its still in the design stage. i also made the tires bigger

front looks better  i still think it need more curves or hard lines though  everything else looks great, nice work

yea im still trying to make the front look good. ok so update time i really didnt do a lot i just wanted to try out some shaders and i really dont know a lot about maya's hypershade. and this shader i used is the mr shader from puppet . this is not my final shader cause im gonna be doing a lot of tweeks in order to get it right and if any one has some hints or tips i will truly appreciate the help. peace.
