Small update on the taillights, and a fast test render with no materials and with some indirect illumination.

*crickets chirping* *they stop*

Some rims I made.. along with the disk brake setup I am planning to use. No calipers yet, and the rim isn't chamfered completely yet. The tire isn't "mounted" yet either..

*crickets continue chirping*

The rotor is drilled and slotted.. too bad the slotted part won't be seen 99.98% of the time though, heh.

It's indeed really ingenious!! Nice!

But attach the spokes to the rim, and chamfer the edges of the diskbrake But nice, really

I decided to re-make the rotor. The old one wasn't interesting enough...

A little more work.. not sure why I'm working this slow. I guess I still haven't even decided what kind of suspension to make. For now it'll be Carrera GT-style racing suspension with inboard shocks.. Yeah it's not completely attached yet, the lower suspension arm is floating in mid-air.

Hm. Well this was my 2nd disc ever (the one in the pics above that one is my first..) so if you can find a nice design I could base my own on, that would be appreciated

Yeah I know.. So you just want simple round discs? lol jet brakes, I like that. Air brakes? The doors pop open when you're braking and they slow you down? Or how about vacuum brakes where the car is just sucked to the ground..

Finished rear suspension (the visible parts) and no I dont think it would work in real life due to the insane caster on the lower arms LOL. They had to be turned so much just so they wouldn't stick out from the bottom of the car.. I might adjust them more later.
