Ok so I dont know how to clay render in maya so im doing an occlusion render. Im stopping right here for now since I have alot of homework so If there are any problems besides the ones nighteye aready stated, let me know so when I get back, I can start fixing my errors. Thanks

thats even easier. select all items and on your layers menu at the top, there should be to radio buttons (Display & Render). CLick render and create new layer. Right click on the layer and it should be preset-->occlusion. On that layer you created, there are three icons. Click on the one closet to the layer name (layer1) and that automatically sets up mental ray for you.

Ok heres a render of my my rim Its a small update from the rims above thats on the car but its still small. Ill prob leave my rim like this for now. Maybe ill throw a different center cap but for now i think ill go with this. Updates are going to be slow for a little while because i have 5 weeks left in the semester to finish 4 books and write reports on them. Damn marketing class. O well C&C welcomed

Yes I know the intake is off. its curves at the wrong spot and its tooo sharp in the inner portion. I cant find no good references on the intake. Thats actually my next question 2 anyone who knows, is the intake connected to the Q.P. & how far or deep does the inside of the intake go. anyone wjp knows, please post also, if anyone has good intake shots, post
