Ferrari Modena

After seeing this guys work, I decided to try the modena.

Im no where near that good because im still learning. Im getting alot of errors with my mesh so im hopeing yall great modelers can help me out. heres what I got so far. Hopefully yall can help

Looks nice so far the pinch on the hood is caused because of the triangle try and make it into a quad and it'll look better

clix101, if you look close, it is a quad. It was a tri but I deleted an edge and added a new one to make it a quad. I just have the edged very close together so that I can get a sharp edge in that corner.

The program I use is maya.

Ok so heres the corner im getting the funny piinch at.

its because of the 2 edges.

what you might want to do is:

get rid of that and leave is at 3 point poly.
start adding more detail to mesh/more poly rows, but make sur it is still smooth.
once your satisfied with that area, extrude down the hood element. The hood on the Modena doesnt have a sharp corner. So if you at least build up some more poly rows aroud that area the curve on the hood will keep its form.

Hey XSI and ColdFlame. Thanks for your comments, ill start working on it very soon to try and fix those edges and add a few more polys. hopefully i can post soon if my daughter stays asleep

alright so i added more lines and yes i got that damn crease out. should this line thats circle be parallel to the border lines or how i have them going in the upward motion. i couldnt find no close up on fenders so im not sure

Alright your were right XSI, I added more polys and the fender looks so much better and the hood rounds itself off. Its not done because I didnt give it dept yet but its comming along.

you might want to add one more poly row on the top of light going back to door area. Make sur when you add it fix up the spacing between the others, try not to have un even spacing.

ohh yes I see where your talking about. Yea it looks like im going to have to finish working. let me get cracking on it
