Hmm the shape of the car is really really bad
you should check out some tutorials on polygon placement and methods on how to start a car

Everybody gotta wear clothes, if you don't you'll get arrested

Without trying to sound too harsh, this is a bad model. You need to work alot harder

hey lets do something constructive first if it is your first model it is acceptable but second or third...hmm i must think about it i suggest you follow a tutorial.there are tons of tutorials on the net.Follow one of them first then redo it on your own.then second tutorial and redo it on your own....after this process you will notice that u get a lot better ...Good luck

For your first smoothed car i say that its not actually that bad youve done quite well for not using a tutorial aswell. The best thing to do, like the others said, is to follow a tutorial and learn how to do model, dont just do everyting word by word since then you wont learn much try and look and see what technique the tutorial uses for car modeling, look at how its done, then model this is a cliché but just remember: "Practice makes perfect" keep it up

I have to agree with Clix. Tutorials can make such a huge difference. Take me for example... 2 years ago when I first started, my cars looked worse than this one that you are doing (no offense). Now, after teaching myself using tutorials and advice from the kind people on websites like this one, I am able to create cars like the Interceptor which I have posted in this forum. Try the tutorials from this website, another good one, which has a lot of software specific tutorials is www.3dlinks.com. Don't get discouraged, you just need practice, and if you push yourself and learn as much as you can about the software you are using, you will find yourself able to create anything you can imagine and you will probably get very good at it. By the way, to me, the car looks like a plastic model of a VW that melted, but thats ok. Don't ever delete the file or your renders of it. Believe me, I wish I still had renders of my first few models to see how each model has gotten better from the one before. So, good luck!

Excuses are tools of the incompetent, building monuments of nothingness. Those who specialize in them seldom accomplish anything.
