""its a pity" because the design is great!"

Dw mate, I can read some French. Working on the window details at the moment, I'll try and make some better renders with a studio scene when I'm done. At least the carbon fiber is turning out like the real stuff.

I'm all over the place lately...

Did the sidewalls on the tyres. Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Treads, but they're on the wrong way :S

Also did the window sill details.

Some more random detail - mirrors, added a few extra aero bits and pieces and a rear window. Also filled in the arches and the ducting from the front intake.

I'm bringing the MY06 back to life soon, getting its interior done etc. Still will work on this one though.

Strange way of putting the brake caliper on..it should be on the rear of the disk.

More like this.

Rest of car looks sweet, cant wait for a big studio render with some nice textures on

True but i've never seen a car have it that way. probably cause of cooling issues you would get if you put it so close to the front of the rim. Not sure though..

Like 1) and 2)? Formula Ones have been known to have them on the bottom because of the ducting, although I do understand why you'd put them on the back side of the rotor (blow air/dust away from the rotor instead of towards it). Mainly a cosmetic choice, but I'll test a few possies.

Anyway, minor update, I've got more work but no renders and I'm in a bit of a rush. Did a proper UV unwrap on the wheels 3), hope that's what you meant NE!

my volvo has the discs on the front of the rotor, both front and back brakes

very nice modeling, the back looks great. I'm not a fan of the design of the front headlights but thats my only crit, otherwise very nice.

Alright, I couldn't work on the Impreza any more, so I made the tail lights. Until recently, I haven't been a big fan of LED tail lights, except for the ones on the Peugot 407. But I thought I'd give it a shot.

As usual C&C is welcome on the styling and modelling. (Materials later! )

Headlights:

I went with the black masked on the front to give the headlights some contrast and make it seem more aggressive. I'll actually test this on the back too, but I think the chrome suits the back better.

(somethings still preventing me from attaching images?)

Too kind, too kind

I'm doing the panelling at the moment. The interior will come next. Having limited experience with exotics, I'd actually like to ask for suggestions on some great interiors you've seen I can take inspiration from.

Cool

Alright, exterior done! The front and rear are "suicide" style opening, and the second flap on the rear would rotate to allow the rear cover to clear it. Probably nothing to do with the modelling, but I thought I'd mention it.

I think I'm going to put the Impreza as "finished but not complete" until I get some more experience with interiors. Meantime, it'll be this one and an entry for the Peugot design competition (unless the theme lets me put this one in ). One thing about concept work is that you don't get slowed down trying to make things true to life, so I've been able to breeze through the modelling.

As usual, C&C is welcome.
