Post Yet Another Concept Car

I was getting stuck on the interior of my Impreza, so I decided to pick up something I'd started a while back. I'll start with the setup I'd made previously - Suspension and Wheel Hubs taken from a previous (unpublished) project, and also the wheels from that project. Right now the wheels are just placeholders so I know where I can put panels, will change them to have some 'dish' and reduce the profile and tread some.

Lastly for this post, the engine. Its a Mid-Mounted H10, All-Wheel Drive, Twin Turbo (The intake pipes going into the engine block, and the exhaust pipes coming out, are a bit small IMO, will fix later). I find it hard to build panels around a car if I don't know the dimensions of its powerplant, so I made this one in medium detail, meaning all the parts are there but they aren't render quality.

Don't reply yet, I've still got the panels to attach

Alright, the panels. Made these over the last couple days from sketches. I'm not sure exactly what inspired the shape, it started off as an s2000 on my pad and I kind of just changed it.

Anyway, C&C, both modelling and design-wise, all welcome. Be honest!

seancatlin11 - yeah I think my subconscious is trying to tell me something...

KIRO - Just googled it. Pretty cool concept car, esp for a hybrid.

Did some layout testing for the tail. Hard to go wrong with circles lol (Corvette, Nissan, Ferrari, MclarenF1). Added the Veilside/Impreza style pincers to the front to de-hairdresser it a bit, and moved the wheels outward. Still one or two bumps in the back of the roof, but I'll get em.

Are you guys suggesting something?

I keep looking at Volta pics, and I can't see it.

It does have some similarities indeed, but I like yours way better
The design is well tought and looks like a mixture of a couple of nice sportscars (360 Modena, Saleen S7, NSX, Maserati Coupe, ..), which isn't bad, I like it!

i like the general shape, and with a few refinements and details i think it will look awesome. i think the back may need to be more aggresive to match the front
