it's slightly floating. You should make blueprints out of these great models

if i remember right... "Falfa's" car was all originally built as C/GS? class drag car.
it was meant to be race in great gasser wars (possibly early/mid 60's)

but later it was featured in Two-lane balck top and American Graffiti (car had re-assembled bumpers+other stuff in American Graffiti)

a beautiful piece of art again palat. it looks great.

i was looking at the side of your car and thinking, hmm this looks kind of bland... then i realized you haden't made any seams yet *doh* well hurry up with them

also check out your shadows. the tires on the far side of the renders, always seem to be floating.

Thanks again!

I think i will stick to Regal Turquoise/India Ivory for the meantime.
Redone the frame between the roof and doors, finally cut all seams so everybody be happy, render with a spot to cast more realistic shadows. Until the model is complete the gas cap door will appear on both sides. Now on to the interior!

damn that looks so sweet 8o great job on the paint palat. my only prob is the chrome mat, it looks like it blurrs the reflections a bit too strongly. but that's all

revelli,
Cartoonish it may look, illustration-like it may look, anything but realistic please (-:

Prykie,
Here's the blueprints, both smoothed and unsmoothed.

Silent][Moebius,
Maybe due to the hdri map they seem blurry, but i like them that way. It takes so long to render glossy reflections in VRay.

Last update for the day.

thats because its like how they were drawn back in the 50s. this one is badass, the bel airs make great street rods haha. but lots of respect for restored cars, cus those are more rare than the tricked out ones. looking awesome dan

very nice looking...
big THANX for the prints man!

For better licenseplates look here licenseplates.tv,its a great
source for everyone searching international plates.
Better use a screenshooter to save them cause they're flash pics.
Have fun!!

Thanks again people!
Your encouragement pushes me forever on.

sarN,
Thanks and i am waiting for that Buick to be ready!
FlashG, from now on i will produce blueprints for every model i make.. Time permitting i will do some of the older ones too.

HardKnox,
Thanks man. Check my Ford 40 renders on my site. Still a good deal of tweaking left but will let it rest for a while.

Tol@te, a big thank you for the link. Will try next week and do this belair a fitting license. The present one was done with ACME License Maker.

Last ups for the week. Did the dash, seats, will do the door fittings next. (Gas cap still repeated...)

Wow! That looks extremely nice! You should try doing some different renders. All of yours seem to be the same. Maybe some kind of HDRI background, or even a 3D background would look deeelightful.

Thanks! I am happy with this "no-background" solution atm.

Updated the above images.
Here's the 150 in Harvest gold and India Ivory. I could not resist keeping the whitewalls to brighten it up:
