Thanks man,
I have redone the door seam, guess it's ok now.
Before proceeding to Falfa's street here is the 210 in Glacier Blue/Shoreline Beige, Chevy's intermediary model that offered all body types but the convertible:

Thanks all for the replies!
And for the stars too (-:

Tol@te,
C'mon man, it's about time you show us a wip on oldtimers yourself.

revelli,
Yes it's a jet. Stylized jets and rockets were commonplace in those days.

sarN,
Thanks ans no, i haven't finished the Malibu. Must get back to it before client complains.

mpfive, NightEye, FlashG, garethgeezer,
Thank you!

Every now and then i try a decent composition. Here's one using the 210 in Skyline Blue/India Ivory. I can't resist to skirts...:

haha, i thought that was one of your references! great work, but the way the shadow is makes it looks like its on a putting green. if you chopped up that shadow a bit to give the illusion of grass in front of some of the shadow, then you would have me convinced..

Thanks all for the crits and comments!
Yes i reckon the shadow was clumsy, i should have done some further Pshop work, like chopping up the shadow to show up some grass like sarN suggested. Oh well...

It's hard to say. I keep constantly going back to my models to see if i can tweak them some more... But as an average a model takes up a week. There are exceptions though. Take these 55 Chevys; they share the same body and many details. Creating variations on them is a cinch.

And here's a station wagon, the 210 Handyman. I simply stretched the roof and rebuilt the body at the rear, added a few details.

Almost ready:

A closed Panel delivery truck would be also easy to do, now that we have a sw...

one thing:Licenseplate? did it ring...hehe
another one thing:what do you think of doing a blueprint for the whole model family 1955?
