Thanks again for all the great comments guys. I have a bad habit of dropping a project like this half way through, but I'm determined to see this one through.

Last update for today - a quick test with material - happy so far. Just need to change the bumper (should be thicker on side of body). The grille also needs to be moved forward a bit (looks too flat in front)

BTW, this is modelled in Max, not Rhino... (not sure is earlier posts were confusing)

nice, but front part where the grill and lights are should have greater angle, than it is now. Hope you understand, what I mean.

New update...

Still need to fix bumper and one headlight is different. The problem is there are so many different versions of the Golf - some have rubber strips on the side and wheel arches, some have chrome on the bumper etc.

Will decide on details once near completion.

if u want to know what kind of bumpers u wanna use, think of what kind of car u what to make. thin k of the type of engine. For example: ure using a g60 8v bumper they have thiker tripes over the wheel arches than a normal 1.6 8v engine

what kind of wheels are you gonna put under there?
