no it is not.
it is a springfield XD
era:
we are using 100% custom content for insurgency so any hl2 stuff will not be used.
The bridge is pretty much the same in polycount as the default bridge that doesn't even have railings.
Plus the brushes do not share the same textures.
Therefor it doesn't even matter.
The collision can be the same on the support (just a box) people will not be walking down there.

no bumpmaps are greyscale images that try to mimic some depth
and no i won't use them on these models

A brush in a map isnt from hl2, the way you have it you can just model the railings and the supports sepretly, that way if you need longer or shorter brdiges you dont need to make another model.

thats base of the bridge is extremely basic, why i said to make it a brush

make the texture you made for the bridge into a 512^2 brush texture, then you would only need a 512x256 for the railings and supports seeing how you dont need the big ass center for the floor

This is just one bridge (just for one map it will not be re-used in any other map) and i still don't understand why the base should be a brush instead of just a simple box model in max or maya (it's exacty the same)

Nah don't think i will do another weapon at least not anytime soon.
I started out modelling weapons and it gets pretty boring.

just heavily editted and played with alot of layers and layerstyles
