First Ever Model - Audi TT

Hi, finally I decided to learn modelling in 3DSMax, so i've read some tutorials and i'm modelling this car using a tutorial, but there are some problems in wich i need help, they are obvious at the pics. I've been searching at the tutorials forum and i cant find a good car paint creation tutorial, so if anybody can give me a good one it will be really usefull.

Pics:

Wire:

And can anyone help with these, I dont know why my BP's look so crappy and weird in the perspective view:

Thanks, Dan.

Looks nice in most parts but you need to try and get rid of the triangles in your mesh also, look at loads of ref pics to make sure that your model is accurate. Apart from that it looks great, keep it up

hey i had the same problem as u with 3dsm lower picture quality on the blueprints. To get rid of that make sure your graphics mode is on your graphics card. If not go to start ---> programs files ---> autodesk ---> change graphics mode. When you have done this go up the top to custimize ---> preferences ----> viewports. Then down the bottom click on the button which says config driver. then make sure backround texture size and download texture size are on the highest (usually 1024) and tick match bitmap as close as possible. When you have done tis u will need to re-apply your BPs to the planes. This should work if not PM me.

Hope this helps

to do a wireframe render, go to materials editor, under shader basic parameters, click wire.
Also when posting renders hide the BPs away

if u are using a later version of max like 7 and 8 there is another way to get rid of that quality problem.did the thing told in upper post.and now.go in material editor.there is a section here called "Directx Manager" click on it.There is a drop-down box here .choose MetalBump9 from the list.and check the setting called :Enable Plugin. Then as Texture1 set the same print that u set for diffuse.apply the material on the plane then u are done!
