well.. actually i was trying to fix my plane problem.. and as a shadow object i used a sphere.. well.. at a certain point i got really bored and ended up making me a new shadow object

PS.. notice that the plane problem is still there

Do you apply a matte shadow material too it? Also if that doesnt fix it why not just make the plane so much bigger that the shadows dont drop on the edges and show the plane?

i tried the matte/shadow thing, didnt work.. so what i'll do for next render is just make a curve plane.. so it covers the y axis as well as the x axis.. so the whole scene will be the same shade

he got it from me, i got it from another source, anyways

dima what you do, is go to the geometry tab, click on standard objects or w/e and go to vray, and make a vrayplane, place it right underneath your car and it will go on forever, then you wont ever have any hard shadow edges

you can buy it at dosch design on the extreme hi-res HDRI CD. Costs though unless you know your sources
