modelwise its not bad, renderwise i like the flakes in the paint.. but there's too much light.. and it loses its realism

btw... is the door handle really that square?

You guy's pretty much nailed it. This was my first car. Was meant to be low poly. After I did the body I just kept going but couldn't add more detail as i created it from nurbs curves originally. I know nothing about texturing and rendering so i just did what i could at the time. Mostly I'm just a modeler.

The door handle is exactly that square and positioned as you see it. I scrutinized my refference for weeks.

Thanks for the coments. I put this up at cgtalk and recieved none, so it's really nice to get some.

I think it's an excellent model, pretty awesome actually for your first one!
Once you've got the rendering sorted out it will look even better

looks nice... the only thing that bother me is a "cut" in the left foglight... it's supposed to be like that?

it's a very nice model anyway. Would be nice to see it rendered with GI, maybe an HDRI environment or something.

the model looks fairly well done, the rendering on the other hand needs alot of work. Im not gonna comment on the name issue cus enough had been already said. Id really like to see it in a better rendering set up tho.

If your intrested I can throw it into one of my scenes. just pm me or you can email me at tommy9286@yahoo.com
