what S7 blueprints did you use?? i been looking for some S7 blueprints i can use for a LONG time

You can stop looking now. The model is already done.

I started the model using side front and rear reference pics, each at 1024x768 resolution. Then a friend of mine pointed out the prints on here, do a quick search for "Saleen S7" and you should find some non-perspective spline views (left front and rear) from maya i think. I used those along with the pics, they helped a lot. But yeah, if you want some left, right, front, top, pics from max to make some lineart, you're more than welcome - just give the word.

As for the model being done, well its *nearly* there. Still gotta make the engine, small details and of course skin the whole thing. I reckon i'll start skinning when my graphics tablet comes through the mail (been waiting like, 2 months now ) so till then i can occupy myself with the engine. If i make it right i could have it as a whole new engine for Street Legal, made especially for this car.

Old thread i know, but im not done yet. Decided to add the wingmirrors and some other minor details. I'll work on the seam texturing sometime today probably



Updated some of the materials too, they look a lot better IMO.

Yeah those are the seams. Finished unwrapping it earlier, texture in progress.

Excellent work,the car looks great, and very very realistic, perhaps when you get done you can make some prints from this to donate, that would be really great.
