Project car
Hi guys!
I’m amazed by the work I’ve seen on these pages. I would like to present you my project. Its not just a model of my design but It’s actually a project which will luckily become a real car. Because I’m completely new to the 3D modeling and this is actually my first model ever done on a computer there are a lot of mistakes that I don’t know how to repair. Based on this 3D model we will CNC machine a real model in 1:1 scale. Because of that the 3D based computer model has to be in perfect condition and in scale. I’m looking for a skilled guy who would like to have a go and redraw my basic model and work out some details on the ruff model. Because this project is my hobby and I finance it by my self I’m looking for someone who would be prepared to do it pro bono. The goal of the project is to finish the first prototype and prepare everything for a small series production of 5 to 10 cars a year. More details later on. Just to get some basic idea I give you a preview of the model. All coments are welcome! Kristian Les Last edited by krisles : 08-15-2006 at 10:08 AM. |

You observe very good The IC. True, you are right. I admire the Zonda a lot and I also had a chance to ride it and to look the production process of the car in every detail. And believe me there isn't a car that comes even close to the Zonda. And that is also why my car has a similar code name “Bionda” (which in our language means Blonde girl) - but that was only a joke that we made and the name just sticked from that point on.
But just as the group C racing cars and F1 cars look similar to each other this car resembles the Zonda (especially the windshield) - because the form follows the function. But actually the car is lower and smaller. Central mounting of exhaust pipes and position of mirrors is not similarity but necessity and many other cars had it before the Zonda. Kris |
