Lancer EVO VIII

Well, finally started a new model - my 2nd one ever. A lot of work still needed to be done. Here's the headlight (not done yet) and the wheel so long. Tell me whatcha think. Noob modeler

Yeah, I know....started with the body a bit till I got the headlight hole. Then I started on the lights. So the body's not done yet. I like doing the accessories first chance I get. Thanx for the comment

when you save your pictures please don't blurr them too much. if the pictures are nice crisp and clear you can see a lot more details

What do you mean by them being blurred? I save them with best quality settings as jpeg's in max. Standard way. How do I unblur them?

try saving as .png or .tga
But I never had problems saving to .jpg in max

saving to jpeg is really alright. it's just that you have to set the smoothing/blurr to 0

To get sharper images try changing the 'Filter' settings on the render options. You've probably got it set to 'Area' at the moment, try 'Catmull-Rom' instead and you'll find your renders look sharper.
