lower the car and make the rimz / \... 1-2 degrees... tilt the front ones a little more... it'll give the car a more extreme look... anyway, this is my opinion

and just WHAT would you want to achive with a camber on a street car?? getting rid of the inside of your wheels seriously fast? besides imo it looks dumb on an everyday driver... unless it's a track car.

well.. its not always like that.. if the camber is reasonable and u have the proper tires with the right tread wear then you'll be fine..
besides.. do you remember anabioz's s2k?? that car was absolutly gorgeous.. and it was lowered as hell and camberd.. looked awefully good, lol,

camber on a road car looks absolutely stupid, they always have the "cut springs with a hacksaw in the back shed" look to them, im with S][M on this one

models looking good clix, cant wait for you to start on the interior

a reasonable camber??? what's that? 0 degress? that would be reasonable. quite frankly you would never achieve anything with that camber. afaik there are no wheels you can buy on the open markets that would actually require a camber or run good with a camber. but to hell with it, if you can prove that there is a set of tires like that, please don't hesitate to tell me, i'm genuinely interested

anabioz is truly a skilled modeler and renderer no doubt about that. i can't remember though whether his S2000 had a camber or not... either way it would be utterly pointless

ok ok ok, this is going a bit off topic yes, cambered would probs b useless in real life and stupid, but since this is 3d, tht doesnt really matter. Aslong as it looks good then its ok. Yes, Anabioz's s2k was cambered and lowered and he has made some new renders of it over at sektor-41. It looks hot lol. Once ive made the interior, ill make different renders with different set-ups and then we choose which one looks best

peace out updates soon

@S][M, i agree that its pointless on a street car, but on cars built for tracks its a vital mod that increases handling and enables to take turns at higher speeds, but then again clix's s2k is just for street use i'm assuming.. so yeah.. no need for camber, lol
-as for a set of tires that are made for cambering.. very simple.. racing tires, slicks mostly... and no.. not all of them.. u have to specify the mass of teh car, the kind of racings it for to get the right tires... b/c for example f1 cars dont need 'em.. anyways.. what was the point of this post?? i have no idea, lol.. lets just stick to no camber

alright i was actually thinking about a set of tires for a street car. you wouldn't put any slicks on a street .... some rain and youd have serious traction problems

but i guess clix is right, enough OT for now. let's see some updates

if you want to get some info on angles check this out. quite nice to read and clears some stuff up

Quote:
Excessive camber is the main cause for alignment related tire wear and can eat a tire in as little as 1500 miles in the worst cases. Wear patterns on tires show up as one shoulder of the tire being worn down while the other sidemay still have tread on it. (see Oscar's tire thread in Gen. Chat for example)
