NSU Prinz Sport Coupe 1958-1968

Hi all,

This project was in the backburner for a long time. Designed by Bertone, reminds me of George Jetson's personal transportation. Can't tell the year precisely, there were some differences from year to year.
Still much to go. Max, poly, VRay.

Thanks SMCars for the blueprints!

Thanks FlashG. Actually it was designed by Scaglietti under Bertone...

Thanks A3dR!

Here's a small update, cut out some louvres fore and aft, added door handles and taillights.

the modeling looks good as usual, but the materials dont. I think the chrome is way too light and the blinker/indicator material needs a bump map of some sorts. The actual car paint looks alright tho.

Thanks people for the crits and comments -- and the stars.

andybuck,
The blinker/material must be bumped with proper textures, i just colored it to see how it goes with the carpaint (i have tested a few different car colors), but i will darken the chrome as it really looks like billet instead.

Sorry folks, the server was down the whole day.
Never mind, here's an update in a more cheerful tone of green. Exterior pretty much done except for badges.

Great model as usual, palat!

And now I'm being really, really, really picky, but how the reflection at the end of the fins curves upwards seems a little strange. Is that caused by the mesh-structure or is it just me?

Now thats a palat-model. Good looking as usual. But as stated before, the chrome needs to be darker. But it is great looking even with this problem.

Thanks garethgeezer and kosso_oli
Actually the area surrounding the vents needs some tweaking to look right.
I have rerended with another carpaint and changed the reflection map for a fairly simple gradient ramp used as spherical environment:

I don't like the reflection on the glass that made every black object inside the car look light grey.
