thanks tom for the comments, i will definitely look into tryin to make everything else match up on quality as some of the other parts you have mentioned, but its hard to do the intake bc i dont have very good ref pics of it but i'll see what i can find, also i fixed the lines around the hood a little bit here's a few pics of what they look like now.

Please dont use userview to show your model. And second, that material hides bumps/pinches so just use a normal screenshot out of your 3d software if you want comments on modeling wise.

fair enough what should i use for a good material to show the model off for crits and what not? and i'll start rendering in perspective view then i guess or start using a camera or something. with those two last pics i was just showing off what the lines in the hood came together with the other body panels of the car.

i think the best thing you can do is use a raytraced mat. It's a default max mat. Then you go to perspective view and go fullscreen. When you have the angle you want you go to tools -> grab viewport. Save the image and upload it. This is the way i usually use to show people my work.

ok here's a small update on the seat arcs or whatever you wanna call them, i know they need some work but i'll make them better later

thanks man, gonna add more detail to them as soon as i get the chance to, im gonna try to concentrate on the interior of the car for once and see how it turns out.

small update on the doors, figure i'd start with the doors instead of the seats and put more detail into the archs or whatever those things are, im not done with the door part yet but i'll try to add more tomorrow or this weekend
