Making textures = knowing your way around Photoshop and its tools.
I've got that checked after two years of using Photoshop prior to 3D modelling, but this book i got recently still is very usefull:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/3D-Game-Text...e=UTF8&s=books
Definite recommend, especially for you, who keeps telling us you can't do textures! Time to do something about it, right ?
