start of a long thread..

well, i dropped out of school, dont have a job, and sit at home all day. so i figured. why not make a video game, i can get it done in a couple years, hopefully by then ill have a job lol.

so here goes. first model of the day, and game.

ferrari f430 animation 2300 tris right now unoptimized of course

the fly-by looks good... it's a bit dark thou

It looks nice and clean to me. Sweet choice of car too.

A bit difficult to see detail with the fly-around though, maybe because i use media player, and got impatient waiting for it to buffer the whole time.

Some nice high res renders of work so far coupled with a wire will enable people to appreciate your work far better IMO

From what i could see looks fantastic though, keep going!

i dont liek making still renders of low poly because they are never gonna be still in game, so they dont have tp be perfect

haha, the first video i posted was 2300, it was just the front lol

now its about 4500

but heres the wire anyway

(btw im new to modeling low poly cars and im still working on the mesh in various spots)

hmm, im not a low poly modeller but i think u have alot of wasted polys on the side and on the bonnet. Mayb get rid of every 2nd line or so?

haha i dunno what a bonnet is, the fender?

anyway, id rather just sacrafice the ~300 polies its gonna save me for the smoothness it give when it has materials on it (or shaders in game)

aaah 4500 is also good
but im not sure, if those red line on attached image of your wireshot will give you better reflections
