Hmm, well I could be wrong, but they don't look deep enough.

Mmmmm, I'll check the tread depth, looking at them, they could be illegal!

Anywho, while I'm here, an update!

Cheers!

Excellent stuff My only crit (and I've looked hard!) is that you need to add the window trim on top of the door as it doesn't line through right now. I guess you just haven't got round to that bit yet, but it's bothering me so I thought I'd mention it

Has everyone else lost interest then?

I worked the model a bit more, but mainly did some shader testing to give me a change of 'scene'.

Cheers!

Looking good, I like the new renders.
A crit from me is that you need to work on the door mirrors as they're not quite right, here are some ref pics (I know I'm being fussy but the rest is so good!)

Yeah, they are on my list. They are actually two different mirrors. The ones you have shown are on the nearside (passenger side), while the drivers side has a more substantial mirror which is adjusted from inside the car (similar to the mirrors I have modelled, but mine are not the correct proportions or shape

Cheers!

The model looks great. I Remember the time, when one of my teacher had a Capri and we went on a test ride with it:>

sweet job on the capri it looks really clean. the car needs a bit of refinement though

some pinching (yellow) and check your seams. it looks like you have some fitting problems (green)

I fixed the tailgate last night, and the front wing pinches, well spotted

The frames are also in need to refinement, they are simple box profiles at the moment with minimal SubD control geometry, rest assured the shading was merely a break from modelling, not a statement of model completion

Should have more to post tonight.

Cheers!

Blimey! I never realised the Capri was so sophisticated Mind you, I did own a Mk5 Cortina Ghia that had internally adjustable and heated mirrors so I should have known that the Carpi would have had something similar.

Cheers all!

I've been working on the car lights (still working now on indicators and tail lights), but this shows the headlight maps, which I am happy with. I'm sure there are subtleties of the details for the lgiht maps I haven't inc as I don't have a good photo of a MkIII headlight.

Cheers!
