Yeh, I'm sort of on a truck trip... This White was most probably at least partly designed by de Sakhnoffsky as well. There are lots of his illustrations and patents on White trucks. While looking for reference data I found some images of the streamlined trucks, and became interested in the work of this person. Thus the streamlined de Sakhnoffsky truck came as a spin-off from this project.
As for the trailers of this truck, I'm going to do different versions, including tankers, becase there exist excellent patent drawings on them. I'm also thinking of making different body styles, including some known streamlined versions.
But there's a long way to go as, unlike passenger cars, trucks need more details: front and rear axles, leaf springs, drive shaft, etc. should be done, as they will be visible from some angles. All these are very boring, but once made, they can be used for other truck models.
I'm also working on Dodge Airflow (it's a streamlined truck too), but it's too early yet to show-off anything.
There are other trucks of the era like Autocar, International Harvester, Reo, etc, I would like to model, but spare time is an issue for me.
