Porsche 911 GT1 (1998)

Comments and crits are welcome. It was modeled off the blueprint I made myself. The rims are taken from my Porsche RS Spyder (2007) model (which I haven't posted on SMCars)

Agree with clix101; also wonder if you would apply a smooth on it, or something?

@smaxx
Mimigu is using Zmod. it doesn't have a smoothing tool like 3DSM

@Mimigu
only thing that i can see is that your hood has a rather messy mesh. the rest looks really good

The little air intake in the middle of the hood was quite troublesome to model, but the meshsmoothed model looks good enough.

Are you going to change the wheels? They are high-poly and the car is low-poly so they dont fit together.

Yes I'm going to change the wheels soon enough.
But I'll do it later.
In ZModeler, the smoothing works differently so if the wheels aren't highpoly enough then you could literally see the angular edge of it.
Also there is no Symmetry tool in ZModeler so its harder to model rims, but its ok.

well actually imo it doesn't matter if the wheels look a bit edgy. that would only be normal on a now poly car.
