Well hi there Eddy J Brown. I remember your first zmod release, that yellow Ford Ka.

Hows your midget? Still got it?

Anywho, nice work so far. Got any unsmoothed wireframe shots?

Hey dup, nice to speak to ya. Yep still got the MG though its tucked in the garage and off the road now. Its got engine issues... moved on to a normal car now since summer, Rover 200 Di. Here's a wire of the unsmoothed frame, not pretty to be honest, I'm still getting used to the poly tools in max. I'm really missing the ease of creating polys in Zmod

I've sorted the bonnet out a little bit, still somethings not quite right with it.

Looking at references I have no idea how to neaten up that bonnet line.

I can't see it myself, I need the wireframe on the model as well to see better.

For better refs, try this site:

Sounds daft, but how do I render a shaded wireframe in Max? If you force wireframe it come's out like the shot above

Cheers for the link, already found it earlier

Here's my latest update. Added the headlights, I realise I've got a slight issue with the indicator at the moment. Still a way to go.

EDIT: Added another pic showing arches and fixes to the door gaps and added some more side detail. Thats it for today.

Crit more than welcome btw
