Xoliul's lowpoly traffic cars

Lego thing is finished, and it's due in two weeks, so I figured why not try and improve my modelling speed meanwhile. And as I will probably need some car graphics for a 2D game I'll be programming, i took on the task of creating lowpoly traffic cars.
I'm thinking the same style Multimediaman does, about 1000 poly's a car, and most importantly, finish them in 3 days/ 10 hours work each.

I've already made a first one within all my goals; a VW Golf 4 with 987 polygons and two textures. started it two days ago and now it's done. Picked a Golf because it is the most common car around here (saw like 25 on a 10 minute drive today), and traffic should be boring and bland I think
next up is a Volvo V70, then probably some Mercedes coupe, something a la Mitsubishi Starion, and maybe a Renault Espace. I plan to do at least about 5.

Doesn't really matter that it looks lowpoly, i'll end up using them for topdown renders anyway. But I attached a wire of the Golf, and also of the 99 Volvo V70 I started yesterday (3-4 hours already). By the way, does anybody know what tires they put standard on a V70 (flashg?) ? I want to use the correct texture.

I know they're boring cars, but that doesn't mean a comment is not welcome
Well, I said 3 days, so 3 days it is for this 1999 Volvo V70.

Next up: 2000 Mercedes A Class.

Heh sorry mate I don't know what tyres they used to have, maybe Nokias NRT(?)

Brilliant lowpoly work thou. Only couple of things got my eye. Golf's rear door looks bit too small and front of the V70 is looking more like S/V40.

I will definitely not make them freely downloadable for everybody, if you see how many stuff gets stolen, and how people even here at SMC almost always forget to mention they're using somebody else's rims on their car. But If you can give me a valid reason for you using them personally, then I'm sure we can work something out.

And here's another wire, as revelli asked. Allready 4-5 hours into this Mercedes A Class. The fun thing about these everyday cars, is that can just go out into the street and find one easily, like I did for the wheel textures. Good pics of those were hard to find, so I just shot a picture of them on the parking of the local supermarket

The side is fixed, thanks for pointing that out. I left the ones on the bumper in, because they give me tri's and shading problems, and I prefer to have 6 more polygons instead of shading that isn't correct.
