i personally find that HDRs, unless used in a very particular way (which ive never worked out myself), make everything have a plastic look...it also seems to be highlighting the panel gaps strangely, making them look a bit too rounded which lends to the toy look

the main problem imo, is that the background suggest absolutely no perspective in your render, whereas the car itself is nicely put into proper perspective. it gives the whole picture an odd feeling.

Hmmm. . . well can someone help me out with studio renderings so I don't have to use HDRI? I've been tryign to do studio renderings for over a year but nobody helped haha. Links, Images, Walkthrough, SOMETHING.
