Low Poly Peterbilt

Using the blueprints found on this site, I have my lo poly peterbilt. I say low poly because the is no meshsmooth, just lots of parts to add detail. This model will be used as an extra in an animation I'm working on. Modeled in 3ds Max

i dont think he was aiming for game lowpoly, its a detailed prop for an animation that doesnt have 2 million polys so it doesnt take ages to render

It does look very nice...

Though, it also doesn't fit my definition of Lowpoly.

sweet job. looks very mid poly-ish to me too

the truck has a cartoony quality to it... maybe some of the piping on the exterior is too thick or something like that.

^ I get that slight cartoonish impression as well. Might be due to the lack of detail in the wheels, and the overly rounded nature of the tires. But it looks good non the less.

well, now that you mentioned it, it is for a cartoony animation! I haven't fully distorted it yet, but here are some other cars for the animation.

(you can tell how important each car is by how detailed it is)

the poly count is between (112,000 for the semi)<---eeek!
30,000 for the mustang(I know, more than there should be, its an old model),
13,000 for the integra, and 50,000 for the supra, the main car. I still need to model an SUV, and a 4-door sedan, then make changes to the colors and such.
