Modeling looks really good, but I personally dislike the turbo-wing. Doesn't fit the style of the kit, imho. Also, would a wing like that actually have any effect on downforce? I think a wing like on the Mégane Cup Car would suit the Panda better -- But, of course, that's just my personal opinion. Keep it up!

Linsen, thanks for your opinion.
The Turbo wing was a little bet ...A friend of mine told me that I didn't have the courage to put it on my Panda.
Speaking seriously (?? ), she has a central engine, and the wing is there in order to cool the engine !!
As for the downforce, and she needs bunch of it, I think this is the best wing I can use. If you look at it, it seems a desk on the back.
More, the bottom of the car has a spoiler with a specific profile for a greater downforce.

Final... She is the wildest, craziest, funniest and best ironic car I can think about to join a tuning contest

Cheers Dario

hmm I can still see Linsen's point tough..
the spoiler isn't gonna scoop up any air, no matter how big.. it in a wrong place, it's like a F1 car slipstreaming another one... the air flow will follow the roof line and will continue relativly leveled behind the rear window. Meaning that is no air flowing in the direction of the spoiler.. even more, cause of the shape it's gonna create an under pressure, which means that when you drive it, it's actually gonna SUCK air FROM your car, which isn't the best way to keep an engine going

A car like this with a mid engine best bet to get alot of air for al kinds off purposes in fom the sides (Think in the heading of the Clio racing cars).
Als oweight doesn't neseairly mean it's causing downforce, downforce is air that gets pushed upwards by the shape of a wing or spoiler, which in turn PUSHES the car down, adding a desk on the back, is pretty much the same thing as hooking up a trailer at the back...

anyway the spoiler doesn't really fit the design anyway, but it's your model and your choices. Just giving my two cents

"His loyalty couldn't be bought at any price, but it could be rented remarkably cheaply"

that propably would not work in real life.. but anyways its pretty interesting design

for mid engine car propably should place intakes either at the
side of car or roof.

heres some good exaple...with pretty extreme ways to keep engine cool

dppd69 said he's from italy, FIAT brad is also from italy, but Panda is made bay FIAt in Poland, so we could say its imported for Italy, as for claiming that Japanese cars are only imported, I'll say what a silly joke.

BTW panda model is quite interresting, I see the fron is completly different then oryginal, and good thats the way it should be, rear spoiler is kind of strange looking in this car, but it somehow fit's to this car, good job.

Guys, I really appreciate your comments and critics on design.
In Italy we say... "It doesn't matter HOW you speak about it, it's important you SPEAK about it"...

This is very far from being a real world car and an universe far from working (from engineering point of view).
It's just a big fun to join the contest (btw no rule about making only working cars) and to open Lightwave again after too much time of inactivity.

I wanted to know if I was still able to model cars and complex details on them. So take it as a personal challenge.
I can't believe the model doesn't have bumps or problems. Please help me to fix them, I always count on you

At the moment, I really like how it looks and its unconventional style.
I'm worried a little about the deadline (end of November), because I would really finish it.

>Zachary
Thanks mate for the pic. I was already planning to put a Clio Sport style intake on the side, I'm deciding how and how much BIG

Cheers Dario

Major updates...
C&C as usual. I like very much the color, probably will be the final.
Surprise about final rims. I found new ones, but very difficult to model... Let's see

Cheers Dario

Hey, no problem, it's your car and still looks nice!

As for flaws on the model: I really looked hard and it just might be that the area where the hoodscoop ends is a tiny bit bumpy, but I'm not 100% about this.
