Chevrolet 1957 Sport Sedan

Hi all,

Taking a break on the Jag and Zephyr to do this commission. The owner is restoring a 57 Bel Air pillarless 4door and wants the now-customary color testing. This is an old project of mine, i would do it for free but gladly someone is buying it. (-:
I checked the freebie 57 model but it is full of inconsistencies, top view seems incorrect, THREE wings on the windsplits... But it is a very good model anyway and for a long time i considered it a paragon of 3d car modeling proficency.
So i created this out of my 56 Sport Sedan model. Still lots to add but the overall is set.

Thanks for watching!

sweet. i don't know about the color... looks too creamy, but well if that is what you are trying to achieve it's alright

looks like the front wheel arch isn't smoothly rounded.

hehe you gotta like these oldies. the front end reminds me of a badly designed bond car with the guns mounted on the hood and the rockets pointing forwards on the front bumper

Very nice as usual.
And I really admire how fast you are with modelling!

As for design, the 1950's cars have a certain appeal, although personally I feel most of them were in excess. On the other hand I would model a few of them myself if I had the time.

Looks pretty darn accurate! And such 50s beauties aren't the most easiest ones to model . So thumbs up!

Yummy yummy yummy Maybe the dagmar thingies on the bonnet are a tiny bit too big but otherwise it's perfect (I think they're called dagmars, the bullet chrome things).
