SL500 VS SLR McLaren

Okay I quit 99% of everything I model and I know it’s not a good thing and i am not proud of it but that’s what happens so be it. I am getting tired of deleting topics and replying to people that I have quit them so here is a thread that I will post all my work in. I will have finished work (hopefully) and work I will make a front bumper for and quit. Some of the work that I quit I will post here so people can download and finish or do whatever they feel just as long as they credit me.

So to start off this very long thread I will be showing you a Mercedes SL500 I am currently working on. I like this car very much at the moment and I hope not to quit but I might lol.

Looks like a great start dude.

But cant you just merge some of your old posts on the old cars in here aswell?
Like last updates on them so ppl know what you have build on earlier.

I would say to go through your old projects and analyze where you stopped. Write down checklists for each file in notepad or something, and just make it into a big compilation of a file. Once that's done, find the most common stopping point(s) in your files, and perhaps you'll find that you're only stopping because you're getting to a part of the vehicle you actually just hate to work on. Perhaps it's the more complex interior of a car that strikes you as needlessly complex, and the amount of progress you see in a day is so minimal that you become discouraged.

Perhaps you're stopping once you get to texturing the stuff, which might be a clue to just hating the unwrap and texturing process... not sure, but at least the checklist thing could help identify possible points where you just loose the thrill of modeling

I love it, RedStar; excellent work!
I have one plea though. It consists of three letters: AMG

Thanks for the comments guy!

Multi - The problem I already know. I loose interest. And also, whenever I get to a part where it gets bumpy and I get lazy and don’t want to waste time fixing it I think that’s another time I quit but most of the time I just look on forums and find these awesome wip's and I am like, wow I want to start a new car.

Xer0123 - By unsmoothed, you mean unsmoothed wire?

T-Shine - This is the body I want to go with.

I know that feeling all too well heheh... Sitting here working on my track for so long, with such monotonous work (I spent the last 9 hours just texturing fences, I mean.. come on... lol) The temptation to start a new vehicle right now is overwhelming.
