Audi s3 2007 (lowpoly)

Hello

I've just started modeling an Audi s3 2007, and as it has to be for a game, it has to be lowpoly (so no meshsmooth). I'm trying to make it look good with placing as many polys as possible "by hand".

As I am a total beginner with lowpoly, i would be very glad if you could give me some advices!!

- Study the polystructure of good models. Pay attention how well done mesh flows smoothly. Smooth mesh flow will make reflections and highlights look nice. Try to copy that look on your mesh.

- Work and post screenshots in Facets + Highlights and Smooth + Highlights modes (I guess you're using 3ds Max). Much easier for others/yourself to see how your model could be improved.

- In lowpoly, good texture is even more important than good mesh.

it looks like you chamfered the edges. this isn't considered a "low poly modeling technique" use smoothingg groups for this issue. ask FlashG or revelli they are very competent people when it comes to low poly stuff

I'm a Prefectionist
