ATMT

Hey guys, i bought the ATMT/Dreadnought tutorial from 3D palace, this is the start of it. Let me know what ya think. I have rigged the toe up so it pivots and the hydraulics move, I'd recommend the tutorial to everyone, its awesome!

Cris really does have some great stuff. I bought his APU tutorial. I finished the foot before loosing interest, but I learned a lot.
Someday I'll dig it out again.

and now you know how i model 90% of my stuff

i basicly learnt how to model from cris, started 4yrs ago with the chees tut you can get for free from his site. i have also brought the APU, firefly, and Dreadnought tutorials

nice work thought mabye could do with a smooth modifer, set to about 21, mabye. keep it up!!

If you can turn, your not going FAST enough

cool, its nice how a whole bunch of simple objects can make something that looks like it "works"...i wanted to make a mech from mechwarrior...but then i found a whole forum about making mechwarrior stuff, and the "its been done before so many times" and "its not your concept" feelings settled in

Looking good Prykie, the modeling is nicely done. The clay render is turning out real nice.

VrayDirt is just a map, chuck it into the diffuse slot of a material...its something people use alot on models with lots of small detail, it can also give the impression of rust in corners etc.

if youre not using Vray, itd be called Ambient Occlusion, which is the same thing
