Porsche 917-30
ok, I found this site and got inspired
This is the first car I have ever attempted to model so be gentle I am doing this as an experiment to see if I can get the car done and get it into rFactor. So, of course the modeling is the first step. Will keep updating the pics ![]() ps.. oh ya, I am using Max ![]() Last edited by GOV : 12-10-2006 at 10:38 PM. |

I agree with Silent Moebius... an excellent choice of car indeed.
I think you should check the front wheel well because half of it is supposed to bend inwards slightly (I know I'm not being clear, but check some reference pics.) |

ok.. here is a bit more. I know there are some pinches and smoothing group problems, but the bulk of the body turned out pretty good. I am not going for 1000% accuracy as I want to keep the poly count as low as possible. Considering that, I am happy with it so far. Disregard the seam down the middle, not connected yet.
Be gentle ![]() GOV |
