Nice start. The front of the rool line needs to be raised, and the 'A' pillar needs to be adjusted, but I think it's all included in the tutorial.

I'm personaly not a fan of this style of modeling, but it looks like it's working well for you.

If you want some nice referance images you can find lots of them at Car pictures and wallpapers - NetCarShow.com

Not sure what a rool line is?

I'm fairly sure the the a-pillar gets adjusted later on when adding the details and such.

From what i've seen theres 2 styles of modeling.

Going from Front-Rear and then doing a rough outline shape and "shaping" it (the thing the guy does in this tutorial)

I think there are a few negatives the way im doing, gets a bit confusing so once i've done this i might find a tutorial and see how it's done the other way.

Also, thanks for the link

hi man welcome to 3d modeling

i painted some things you might want to consider more closely to get a better modeling result.

red - pay attention to have only 4 sided polies, as this is important to avoid bumps on your model when you smooth it later

blue - when you create these shapes you need to pay much attention to get them aligned properly andmake straight lines straight

yellow - most shapes on modern cars flow and are round and often follow certain lines. try to capture this when modeling

green - this are seems to be a problem zone like i described with 'red'

good luck fixing and i hope you won't loose your motivation too soon

keepit up, you are getting there, first time is always the hardest. keep as much as possible to the tutorial and you will get a good model to show off.
I believe you may have missed a couple of parts in the tut on how to keep everything straight and bump free. go back over the 2nd or third tut and follow from there to see if you can improve that part of the modelling process.

and yes welcome

Did half of the front detail tutorial today. Haven't done much because been a bit busy lately!

Anyway, was thinking of doing something else and getting help if i get stuck or cant figure something out. Need to do something that interests me!

But yet i know i have to do this to figure out how to do door seams/Chamfer things properly, lol.

Folowing by a tutorial I see I sugest you to use reference pics too. Cause some parts are wrong when you will finish folowing the tut. Sideskirts for example And many more. In other words. Keep it up. Good work so far

great thing you did by choosing to follow that tutorial because its is a very good tutorial to start learning 3d with. your doing ok from what i can see but i think theres a pinch in the bottom corner of the big whole on the front. the part where the mesh and the badge go in. just check the bottom corner it shouldn't be round like that. but so far it looks nice.
