Hi,

This is maibe the last gamma test. I found another monitor calibration tutorial that suggested that the gamma of my 22" crt is 1.3. I applied it to 3dsmax, used color mapping linear (B=1;D=1;G=1.3) and raised scene lights intensity about an half.

No more comments on the terrible background: it will change soon. Until now I was only concentrated about light scene and gamma study.

Results: older images are now very good, monitor is less darker than using gamma 1.8. Colors are bright and glasses are completely transparent.

I hope to have found the final correct setup! :dead:

Now the scene is a bit more darker and less burn:

As soon as possible some chassis renderings.

I used only a good setup and environment. No HDRI used!

The seats look way too crumbled. I don't know if they are in real life, so if they are, never mind.

The rest is just great.. Mindblowing!

Two renderings using DoF:

Seats were really crumpled in 1970. This is a real vintage racecar!
