your work is awesome! details are perfect! Just one word about the shadows, I find them a bit "grany". Comes perhaps from light division?

Best render you showed here so far, and that's not a small achievement.

I love the lighting and the colours, previous renders were too pale IMHO.

Please keep us updated !

a agree with tom. The only thing i can say is that the renders seem a bit low quality. Are there coming high quality renders coming soon?

I'm placing this beauty on the original 1970 le mans pitlane:

Scene needs hard work, but now the 512s seems in its natural place!

they look really cool. But imo the contrast is a bit to low. colors just seem faded. The rest is awesome

Someone else spotted that lack of contrast on CGCars. I'm not sure if it's not intented. I guess only Alan can say about that.

Seems I have troubles with monitor gamma calibration. On my crt monitor I set gamma 2.0, but seeing on the lcd in my office, where gamma is 2.2, renderings are overbright.

Great work, the car looks fantastic, LOTS of details. My only crit is the tires, the transition from the sidewall to the tread/slick is just to 2d, needs to be more smooth. In that race track render you did its really evident, not to mention bright which makes the tires look grey, Need to be a lot darker in that render next time. Other then that it looks great and its a long time coming, been working on that car a while hehe.

Two more detailed renderings, in which I setup a wrong gamma in the color mapping. It will be corrected in next renderings.

I left for a while the "Le Mans" envinronment, and created a new garage for my beauty:

What's your opinion?

The lighting seems to bland in that shot, but on your studio shot with the front hood off its perfect, good strong yellows, and also your side-walls seems nicely with the tread, which is not the case in the garage shots, where its like light is shining directly on them, making them have a hard edge. Other then that car looks great

dome HDRI illumination, and photoshop post work using vray render elements (vray_rawlighting, vray_rawshadow, vray_rawreflection, vray_rawrefraction).
