hey, that engine looks like its made out of lots and lots of relatively simple objects (thats not a crit by the way )...how long did it take to model?

Yes, it's like that!

It took me until now about 2 month and an half in my spare time...

The engine close-up is lovely ! I especially like the forest of wires

One crit : your scene set up may be improved : the exhaust pipes are too much shiny I think. But that's a minor detail comparing to your model.

Currently project : Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster

looking smahsing

and thinks for the info.

and as for the exhaust pipes i think its acually good.

its only a 5 liter, 305ci engine for a 12 cylinder if you do the maths

305 divided by 12 is 25.416repta, take the 7.1 liter, 434ci (in the camaro)divided that by 8 and you get a number of 54ci so the exhuast coming out of each cylinder isnt that big. even a 6 cylinder 3 liter engine have more exhaust per cylinder than the 5 liter 12 cylinder, so you can see it doesnt really need massive exhaust.

keep up the great work!!!!
its really inspireing!!

If you can turn, your not going FAST enough

front brakes air ducts

Thanks guys,

Next step of the project: the interior air ducts for front brakes.

Here you're some screenshots:

Then 3 renderings:

Looking them, I noticed that smoothing in front intakes isn't too much good as I want, so as soon as possible I'll add some polis to better it.

Ciao!
Alan
