From my old message in this thread

The blueprint is just "personal": I started from a standard short-tailed 512s tree-view sheet, and I created my own personal long-tailed version. After completing this work, if the blueprint is correct, I'll do an high-res vectorial version to left it avaiable on the blueprint section of the forum.

Unluckily I never saw a and photograph a real 512s/m. Maibe I hope in next june for Ferrari 60th anniversary that will be celebrated in Maranello!

Thanks Palat!

...but before the body you should wait I create the interior and wheels/tyres.

...then the bodywork, finally glasses, and texture mapping with original 1970 sponsors (I'm searching for old EPS logos!)

Modeling, texturing, and rendering, aren't a problem for old and rare (only 25 512s/m in all the world!) race cars, the real difficult is to find photos and informations!

Ciao!
Alan

this is going real good, the only thing I have noticed which is not wrong but just a thought, I do not see any welds on the exhaust manifolds.

It is just my apinion that it needs some where there are no clamped joins but weld joints.
If not sure how to do it he is a bit of a tut on it. By the standard of the model I would say you know , but just incase. I have supplied a pic of a real header, and one you have done, sorry for the poor quality of the pic but at this stage all I could find.

Thanks for this link feral1, it's very usefull! Maybe I'll add welds, but not now. Now I must create the interior!

@ Tommy: my engine is free and hasn't a fixed partner. Maybe I could leave you its email address. Please be carefull and use preaucations!

Here you're 4 renderings. No great changes, only I modified the chassis of the cockpit, that now is higher:

Ciao!
Alan

Edit: emoticons code make explode one of my 4 links: please click on it!
