So here you've got some things to correct, and i preffer to look into the topic with Vadson's Hummer H2 cause his model is very detailed and renders are at good quality.

Thanks everybody for your great comments , Senior Member Dr.Feelgood , LOL , i knew about the curve of the window and it's already fixed , (it was too obvious in the last clay render so i had to notice it ) ,
i promise to make brighter renders but i want to finish the chassis first so the car would have something to stand on

Nice fixer-upper job mang... Since it is high-poly though, I'd suggest taking another go of building that hood feature.

It has 1000s mistakes. I don't want to mention them, cause it's toooooooooooooooooooooo much of them!!! You should check out more refs. Believ me, cause some time ago I've done it too with full interrior and etc.

Vadson vadson vadson ...
First of all ... your H2 is abosolutly fantastic , i have already seen it and im intending to use your renders as references for the interior (if you don't mind)

dude , i know there are a 1000 dif. between this one and yours , i can mention them to you myself ( front bumber (sides , there should be a hole) ... rear bumber ,sides skirts , door handles , roof , wheel arcs .......................etc) but the thread's name is (H2 'MOD' ) ,

Dr.Feelgood ---> yeah i think so too , i just wanted anything to fill that space there (did you notice that this is my 100th post!!!)

So here's what I think about it :

- Modeling is good, car is smooth and nice
- It doesn't look like the real H2 but like you already said it is modified version

So keep working on this one and we will see what comes out of it...

Even a modified version has things from stock such as shape of the bonnet, roof, doors, etc, and they are wrong in your model...

I think if you show him what he needs to work on that would be a lot more helpfull then just telling him he has stuff missing and model is wrong.

ok , guys ,thank you for your crits. but when i started this thread i didn't know whats the difference between the humvee and H2 (i didn't even know there was another one ,H3) , and in fact i didn't care because in every car in the world i know i WILL find something in its stock parts that i will not like , so i either try searching for a nice modified version or i start designing one myself , for this specific car ,i found (from the begining ) a modified version that i like, which happened to be a monster truck alike(that's why there was a big diff. between it and Vadson's H2)

i didn't realize there was such a huge difference between that modified version and the original car until Kub told me about Vadson's H2 , then i started to have some doubts ,maybe all that long i'm modelling H3 instead of H2 (for me , i didn't care ,but i was gonna ask one of the moderators to change the thread's name , only not to misslead people) but i checked my refs. ,and i saw a big (H2) sticking on side of the left door , so now i am sure i'm modelling H2 , i am sure of accuracy but not with the original car , with the (real) modified car.

what i want to say here is that now ,all similarities with the original H2 are already modelled so now we can stop comparing my model to it and let's focus on the modelling itself and the general shape of the car ( you like it .. somepart needs to be changed ... you have a suggestion ,which would be great ..and like that! )

Now let's move on to the chassis , shall we? (of course after remodelling the hood part )
[sorry for my English, i'm from Egypt]

ahh man not so sure about how the wheels are ganna look on the car they are pretty well modelled but i think you would be better off with the 5 spokes and getting rid of those spokes in the middle but i duno how it will look i guess were ganna have to wait and see but modeling wise really nice and i love the last render. keep it up man super nice.

ok i've done about half the chassis but unfortunately the chassis is a little complicated , and when i tried to make a render(clay) , i heard that scary alert and for the first time in my life i saw this 3dsmax message "the application has ran out of memory and will now close , would you like to attempt to save.......etc" , of course i saved ,closed all other applications , restarted , closed all unnecessary background programs , retried and the same thing happened , any ideas how to fix this ??? PLEASE...

lol thats right it is aram yeh we'll just see how it will turn out man. Your problem is a bugger i get that alot try to merge your work into another scene rather than just opening the file up. so open max set up your scene and merge your object and try then. The whole scene might be buggered because sometimes when max crashes on me and when i save it ...etc it still doesn't let me open it because every time i try to open it it says this application will close would you like to attempt to save or some crap like that. So maybe ye try merging it into another scene.

THAT was close... I thought those rims were spinners there for a second, and that I would have to lay down the biggest pimp-hand ever to your face for destroying the greatest car ever ;-)

They're not that bad of rim actually, but I am more a fan of TIS wheels on my H2 :-D
